London’s population continues to rise and our commutes from home to office on the Underground are becoming increasingly busy and tiring, yet at the same time, remaining monotonous and overburdened by advertisement.
Can we reimagine the relationship between people and the visual environment of London’s underground?
FLOW revitalises the mind of the commuter by using vibrant colours and 3D patterns in motion. It repurposes the wind energy produced by moving trains, and visualises this energy via changing surfaces. FLOW will be installed on the wall of both underground tunnels and platforms; the flow of energy connecting with the flow of the journey.
